It was over the top too often. The plot itself is good, but was poorly presented - likely because the writers didn't have the capacity to develop it well or follow it through. Or maybe it made for too lengthy a film so the directors cut out important scenes. Either way, there were noticeable gaps and far more cheesiness than I accept. It seemed too often that the plot was being revealed simply by an actor's verbal acclamation rather than by a sensible series of scenes. I don't mean to say that these thing's should be bothersome to everyone, but they are to me. In the right hands, this could have been a good movie.
