    Miller's Crossing

Joel Coen again directed this earlier effort with writing credits going to both him and his brother. I loved the 1930's setting and the mob connections that eventually all get linked to a love interest. The huge cast of well known stars who would all go on to bigger things adds to the interest of this crazy Cohen script. Check out Marcia Gay Harden who would go on to a well deserved Oscar for her role in POLLACK by Ed Harris.
