Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole

Must love animation. This is superior & for me awesome in the true meaning of the word. Yes, it is a story 'tween good & evil but that is where the storytellers are stuck. It is a "recipe" so to speak to create tension for the viewers and readers. The good/evil bit is wearisome after thousand of storie built upon this premise but publishers will not accept any other formula currently and no-one has been brave enough to attempt anything else due to almost certain lack of interest from movie-makers and watchers.'This sad though true. Newspaper publishers have tried "good news" only circulars and no-one would read them. Earthly societies are addicted to the drama of pain & glory. Too bad. Must remember the books are for young people, not for small children, nor for adults who have lost their inner child magic. I very much enjoyed it and will return with friends in my own age group. All children I once knew are adults now, many with children of their own, so we go without younger ones. Will also purchase the DVD when it is out so I can view it again and again. Have books 2,3,4 on order at library. As usual not all the details can be put in a short movie but 'twas well done. It is magical though the violence did surprise me somewhat the battle scenes are spectacular.
