As a mediator, I would say there is such a thing as a British accent, but that it is not only bearable but rather pleasing. So... about the movie. It is disappointing to see quite early in the game that this movie is not living up to it's previews. The relationship between the old man and the boy does not develop into a good fit. We have seen better in that department. It is not Caine, nor the boy, who is good and endearing. I think we don't know enough about Caine's past and why he is so guilt-ridden. The wheels don't come off the wagon but they creak.
