Iron Man 3

A disappointment. A rather dubious story and (way) too many comic-relief moments that really saturate the plot (THE AVENGERS, by contrast, had just the perfect amount) obfuscate what is an otherwise well-executed action movie. The final sequence almost redeemed all of the movie's shortcomings for me, only to add a few more once it was over. Even Marvel's customary tease sequence after the credits roll was superfluous (yet another comedy bit that falls rather flat) It's a shame because Robert Downey Jr. has made Iron Man into truly one of the coolest Marvel universe characters of Hollywood, but in this instalment he's held back by a silly plot and stupid lines of dialogue.
