    Invictus

Clint Eastwood does it again, directing another solid drama. But more than the story and theme, I was taken aback by Morgan Freeman's spot on portrayal of Nelson Mandela! He definitely earned his Oscar nomination. And kudos to Matt Damon for his turn as the captain of the South African rugby team. It is a very nice story of foregiveness and looking forward instead of backward, but the movie does seem to drag at times and often seems unnecessarily repetitive on certain themes. I just think that it could have really benefited from a 30 minute reduction in running time, for appreciation sake and interest flow. 7/10, good movie, worth seeing, especially if you love biopics and the retelling of key modern day historic events.
