Into the Storm

Awesomely bad! There are so many movies in this genre that the Scary Movie folks parodied it (Disaster Movie) That tells you something. My buddy and I saw the premiere and neither of us could tell if it was meant to be a comedy or not. I am leaning toward yes. First there is Hugh Jackman's long lost brother. Then the dead wife from the Walking Dead. Then comes the Hemi guy from the Dodge commercials. Then the 20 year old who is supposed to be 17 with Zak Effron hair. The plot, script, music and acting all fall right in line with what you expect from a cheesy disaster movie and the producers poke fun at themselves. OF COURSE it's the very biggest and baddest tornadoes of all time all coming to lay waste at the same spot, yada yada. It's Twister for the current generation who don't know Helen Hunt. Still fun if you're in the right mood. Glad I didn't pay.
