Well, this is the closest you will ever come too leading a monk's life. Enter the daily life of this secluded catholic monastery in the French Alps. For me it is almost a wasted life, but it is freely chosen and I guess it is much better than not having food and shelter at all! Even today, I am still amazed before human stupidity and its infinite manifestations.

For most of us true believers in our Catholic faith, having spiritual people like the monks in this movie (and many more all over the world) praying to God for all of us, including you (no exceptions) is reassuring. There will be always special people dedicated to special tasks; like medical researchers inside their labs looking to cure the body, there are monks inside their monasteries looking to cure the soul.
