Click here to show this review. I think the best way to describe this movie is by saying it's an overly gory, corny rip off of last years Clash of the Titans. Too bad from what we saw in the trailer it truly had potential to be a good movie but it fell short. I read somewhere that Mickey Rourke didn't even read the script before he agreed to the part of King Hyperion and I can see why anybody could get this cheesy movie's story. It wasn't all bad, I liked Theseus but why did King Hyperion have to kill somebody every 5 minutes. If they where trying to get across that he was ruthless, they did that the first time he killed someone. And in the actual Greek mythology, Hyperion is one of the Titans, now if he was one of the titans who escaped and wanted revenge against the gods, that would have made sense, instead here he is some random guy who wants the gods dead, because they didn't save his wife and son from a disease. Overall a bitter disappointment, too bad it could have been much better.
