For a while there, during the first half of the film," Immortals" was exciting and took its time to develop the story and the characters for that matter. It did what not many "titan" movies do and that was not rush the development of the story and the characters. This was by no means a great film. Immortals was a surprisingly decent film. It felt as if, for once, the director and writers put some effort into this special effects-driven action, and it shows that these cheesy action films can be decent and even better if effort is put into the making of the films. The first half of Immortals was intriguing, and visually spectacular. The last half was a bit disappointing, based on the fact that the movie was going so well up until then, and it finished with gory action and a cheesy conclusion. Despite the last half," Immortals" delivered a film I never thought it would've delivered which is a decent action film, and is worth seeing only because "titan" movies aren't going to get much better than this.
