Ice Age turns out to be a very pleasant and amuzing picture. A lot of effort has been invested in faithfully rendering animal behaviour. The friendly creatures are adorably cute. Not only is the 3D animation visually stunning, the sound effects are neat and crisp as well. Although the film is aimed primarily at a younger crowd, there is no grotesque nor blatant comedy, which really impressed me. The humor is conducted in a subtle manner, which will please the viewer who appreciates Ray Romano's comedy. Most importantly, the preview never gave away any of the storyline! That's a rare delicacy nowadays. A rare and single overly extended sequence somewhere in the middle of the movie, but overall this is well worth your money and will definitely amuse everyone, old and young.
