    I'm Not There

I am not a Dylan fan nor did I know much about the man, but critics were good to this film so... I read Wikipedia on Bob Dylan before going and it proved very useful in understanding much about the movie and Dylan's life. It is very well played; yes by Cate Blanchett, but I thought more so by Charlotte Gainsbourg. People seem to see Dylan as an enigmatic person, but I don’t. I've seen more complex people in every day life. So, he changes, who doesn't? Anyhow, get somewhat informed about the man before viewing does help. The 2h16 went by extremely fast! Worth anywhere between 7½ and 8.
