I'd have to say that "Hitman" was everything that I imagined it to be... an exhilarating, non-stop, insane, shooting rampage all the way. I thought this movie was one of the better action thrillers that I've seen since "The Bourne Ultimatum" and "Casino Royal." Needless to say I was impressed at how fast this film grabs your attention, particularly during the first few opening scenes. The plot here is strong and well constructed, and thickens with intensity at every turn. The storyline creates a real sense of adventure. One can feel the threat of danger and the zest for victory throughout this film. The actor, Timothy Olyphant, who plays Agent 47, does an incredible job at portraying his character. Really, they couldn't have found a better guy. I liked how Olyphant came across as being cool, collected, and suave, while also brazenly showing off his cold, detached, and unmerciful disposition. Of course we know what his sole intent in life is... to kill. Also, good acting performances from Olga Kurylenko. She's sure not too bad to look at. Aside from that there are some amazing, eye-popping fight scenes, plenty of carnage, gunfire, and destruction. Though some people may be taken aback by the amount of violence in this movie, it is to others, a fun, entertaining, edge of your seat thrill ride. However, my only criticism would be that this film could've been a bit longer. Still, it's a really good thriller. Get out to see "Hitman" now.
