Much like previous Harry Potter movies. A little darker, perhaps. I thought the tension between Hermione, Harry and Ron was a little unbelievable.

Have you read the book?
Reading the book is irrelevant. If a film relies on the audience to have read the source material then that's lazy film making. A film, if done well, should be able to stand on its own.
I agree with you completely. So many of these scores are bloated because they are Potter fans. The movie on its own is totally boring. Far too many camp scenes with little action. Basically if you can 'warp' yourself out of trouble then why are you running in the first place? And why not warp yourself to Disney world? (Just kidding)

Click here to show this comment. They are "warping" themselves away because they don't want to die. If they fight Voldemort, that is what will happen; he is the strongest wizard the world has ever seen and they haven't all the right "pieces" yet. If we want an 8th movie, we can't expect them to fight everytime they meet Him. Anyways, everyone used to complain that the movies were too different from the book; everyone got what they were asking for.
So why not warp to Disney world? My point is that if you can warp instantly from danger... then why are you worried? And this movie left out several key points. If you read other reviews you will see those points. And not everyone got what they were asking for. I was asking for an entertaining movie. This one sucked. Once it comes out on DVD (in a few weeks time no doubt.) no one, including you, can tolerate this 2.5 hours of dribble. This movie should have been made into a four hour classic, like Gone with the Wind or Moses... instead they made inot a cheap bland/slow moving movie that would only appeal to Potter fans, and no one else.
