Well the Rock makes it work in this movie. Its actually quite an emotional tale that is very well done. From start to finish, you feel for these kids and appreciate the values that The Rock in bringing to them but even more than that, you love to see the kids earning their self-respect and values. Its quite incredible honestly. As a movie it works quite well with very little things that could be improved on, if any. However, it still does not bring anything new to the screen and for that could not merit a 9 or a 10. So it is a great movie, well done from start to finish. Ohhh and do stay for the credits at the end. Seeing the actual sean porter and the kids say the exact same words gives it that much more value as a picture.
