Acting is decent, cinematography and music are good. But the story sucks!! Main characters spend their days reminiscing about a nostalgic era when slavery was still legal! In this day and age, I can't believe there are still people recommending this movie...

It's too bad you are so harsh on GWTW. The movie and its accomplishments from 75 years ago do stand the test of time. It is a great film... Historically it's pretty accurate. So you don't like the story! So what!!! Are we to forget one of the most turbulent periods in American history? GWTW is a work of art! Are past works of art to be forgotten simply because a few persons don't care for them. You must be much more objective in judging the value of a film, a work of fine art, a musical composition... whatever! Liking or not liking it personally means absolutely nothing at all!!!
