    Garden State

This little known ambiguously romantic comedy is very unpretentious, un-hollywood and very real. The obviously talented Newbie from Scrubs Zach Braff wrote, directed and acted in this creative original take on the romantic comedy genre. The character development was priority no. 1 and the story is a fresh twist to an already saturated market. I enjoyed this movie tremendously and would recommend it as a great date movie but this does not mean it is a girl flick. There is enough in the plot to keep a guy's attention as well. There have been comparisons to LOST IN TRANSLATION, all I can say is that I did not enjoy that movie. There are similarities: the realness of the acting and the ambiguous love relationship. The difference is, this one is a good movie.
