As 1997 will be remembered as the year when the computer beat the world champion at chess, this movie is a kind of "revisitation" of the result, with a play-by-play for each of the six games by our narrator- Gary Kasparov. Kasparov's whimsey about IBM foul play comes in with a magnetic, if overbearing, personality and provide all the suspense we might need. Tidbits about Kasparov's career are given along with interviews of many individuals involved in the match. It is a chess movie; but you don't need to be a buff to enjoy it.
