An exceptional take on Alfred Hitchcock's "The Lady Vanishes." Although this movie gets it's main plot from that Hitchcock classic, this movie ups the ante in several ways. First off it is way more tense, giving us (the viewers) the feelings of anxiety, worry, and even claustrophobia. Also the answer to the question," How does a person disappear entirely from an airplane? ," is quite good and very satisfying. Jodie Foster plays her character pitch-perfectly and you can feel her as she goes through this most terrifying situation of losing a child. Of course this is merely the surface of this movie as it becomes much deeper and twisty as we approach the end. Definitely a great thriller with an air-tight plot. Fantastic acting by all make it believable and even a little chilling. See it now!
