I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I am not a huge Matt Damon fan as a result of his misguided and juvenile environmental views but I actually enjoyed this movie. I did see it on Imax so that might have had something to do with it. I can clearly see America in the future being an economic wasteland as depicted in this movie if they keep following their present bad economic policies and the practice of making the 20% or so of people pay all of the taxes so that the lazy and no accounts can get a free ride. Everyone should pay the same amount in total taxes but that's another forum I guess. Anyway, as for the movie, I had to side with the hardworking people who built something for themselves to get away from the lazy and criminal majority. Of course, they get dragged down back down into the muck and their paradise ruined. The moral of the story is that they should have set up base several light years away from earth rather than simply a few hundred km away. Oh well, you live, you learn.
