What starts as a comedy using a double for the President of the U. S. A. turns sharply into an area that is hardly creditable or believable once the President is incapacitated. It runs head forward into the absurd as all the upper echelons of government seem to be stuck in neutral far too long. I didn't buy the premise for a minute. It seems, unintentionally, to poke fun at the stupidity of Americans, even of those in the highest places.
