Joan Crawford starts a long co-starring teaming with Clark Gable in this rather predictable plot of some show girl having to choose between a a big buck romance to the rather ordinary life of a stage manager. The film co-stars Franchot Tone, once Mr. Joan Crawford and in delightful supporting roles we get the great Mae Robson, Frank Capra's Oscar Nominated "Lady for a Day" and even Fred Astaire before his ascent as the greatest film dancer of all time in the RKO Astaire and Rogers Musicals.
