    Dallas Buyers Club

Never really was a fan of Matthew in his early work. He just seemed to play the same character, over and over and over. The stud guy with his shirt off. Now recently hes had a bit of a renaissance picking roles that are really out of character for him. From Killer Joe to Mud to Dallas Buyers Club, these are really different roles requiring quite some commitment from him as an actor. Here he found his dream, a role perfectly suited for him to showcase himself. Its hard to find a better film than this for Matthew in his entire career. This film will put Matthew in the oscar elite and bump his name in hollywood after years of average movies and a number of flops. While Matthew star seemed to be waining in the past few years, he's done quite a job of reinvigorating himself by carefully choosing films not based on monetary reward but on how it may further improve his craft. Thumbs Up to Matthew for an incredible turn around and a great captivating performance.
