First of all I saw this movie at the montreal première thanks to Cinemamontreal.com. So thank you to everyone at Cinemamontreal.com for this opportunity. Ok, as for the movie it seems to me that it could've been much much better. Is it hard packed action that never stops? Yes it is. Is it plausible? Most likely not but what really bothered me about the movie is that it just seemed to be a free rampage ride. There were no really well choreographed fight scenes, the action was really disastrous and bloody when it could've been much more sophisticated and impressive. I've seen Jason Statham in the transporter 1 and 2 (both of which I liked tremendously) so I know he's got the martial arts background to pull off much better sequences than what was displayed here. Also, Amy Smart kind of disappointed me a little. She had an incredible performance in the Butterfly effect, peacefull warriors, etc. And this seems average at best. She does show a comedic side with the numerous humorous skits (which are actually funny at times) Either way, this movie could have been much much better with a better script and better choreographed fighting scenes. It just seems like they didn't put enough time into thinking out this movie through and through. 6/10 : it could've been much better indeed.
