The story is compelling not so much because it makes sense but just because the idea of it feels tragic. You don't really have to buy into any of the fictional elements of the plot to appreciate the movie, the film seems so real and beautifully executed by everyone that you just go along with and put your lack of understanding aside. That pays tribute to the absolutely natural flow of the acting sequences held by Clive Owen, Michael Caine, Julianne Moore and a few of the actors of the resistance groups. It may not be for everyone's liking but it will be appreciated by many.
