    Charade

CHARADE from Stanley Donen in 1863 provided 2 great screen roles for the elder statesman Cary Grant and still young Audrey Hepburn. It is a delicious thriller in which a wife has seen the passing of her estranged husband thrown from a train. It all gets very complicated as killers are in search of a fortune from the widow who is in dire straights. Grant has has his own motive for helping the lovely widow Rggie. As the climax builds up to fever pitch, you won't quite believe in what consists all the money. An absolutely rock sold 8 verging on 9. A brilliant conception.
