    Brothers

I have to say this movie was well worth the experience and it delivered just like I knew it would. The psychological and devastating effects of war are very real. This is a powerfully gripping story about how war can turn families upside down, and have a negative lasting impact on our service men and women who come home after a grueling mission in Iraq or Afghanistan. This film also held my attention and gave me some insight into the reality of war. I must say the main highlight is the acting. Toby Macguire's fiery though bold performance as a soldier and family man is nothing short of amazing. I'd say he stole the show. I'm not taking anything away from Jake and Natalie though. They are fabulous actors too, but Toby's acting was just stellar. In fact I would really like to see him get an Oscar for this one. There's good direction and editing in this picture as well, not to mention great visuals. Overall," Brothers" is an emotionally charged and outstanding film... one that should not be missed.
