I was very disappointed. It seems most of the positive reviews for this film come from Desi people (from the Indo-Pak subcontinent) Ok, I love international films, and I'm pretty familiar with Pakistani culture. I went in with an open mind, but this movie is bad, not quite terrible, but plain bad! It will most likely be appreciated only by Pakistanis (don't take it persona) The acting is reasonable. The music is sub par, and the script is bad, but that's not the worst of it. This film is completely biased against religion. The director takes over an hour of the film to hammer into our heads that the father is a fanatic bigot who tyrannizes his family and that Pakistan is plagued with injustice and intolerance. The main message : Men are pigs, religion is bad and Pakistan is an awful place. OK, WE GET IT! Sheeesh, I wish I hadn't wasted my time and money.
