From start to finish a great picture. The acting, the movement in and out of reality in the main character's mind, the unrelenting percussion. And the insights provided by the characters that are portrayed, all more universal that just the world of acting this is set in. The alter ego's monologue is particularly effective and men of that age hear it all the time, believe me.
