    Barefoot in the Park

A very 60's romantic comedy about love and marriage began life as a big hit on Broadway. It's yet the younger Neil Simon soon to find his voice in more important comedy fare. Young Jane and Robert are so perfect falling in, out and in love again. The performances of Charles Boyer as a man of the world and Mildred Natwick as a naive but nice American mother are truly wondrous. Natwick received an Oscar Nomination for her outstanding work. A delicious film that retains its charm though it shows its age.
