If this movie wins an Oscar other than in the 'best special effects' category, Lord help me. The story line is as basic has it comes: the bad/violent capitalist pigs and their army against the 'close to the environnement' indigenous & innocent natives. Guess who wins? Where this movie is a winner, it's in the visual experience it provides. You can tell a lot of time and imagination was spent in putting it all together. So, if you are looking to be entertained and no more, it will score high; but if you are looking for a deep though out story, one that will linger long after it's over, forget this one, it's empty (or almost) To conclude: big on visuals and imagination; very weak story line. To be fair I give it a max of 8½.
