    Automata

I was pleasantly surprised by Antonio Banderas in this movie. At first I didn't really know what to expect but as the story developed it became clear that this is a treatise on the possible outcomes of incorporating drones, AI and robots into our lives. Answering the question of how to limit the evolution of artificial consciousness. Regardless, Antonio was surprisingly convincing in his leading role. Of course this is pure sci-fi and probably low budget at that so don't go in expecting to be blown away by effects and such. Most of it is filmed indoor or in the desert so you wont get anything spectacular in that regards. Whatever the case, this movie does merit a quick view if only for the discussions that may ensue.
