Aside from the gross historical inaccuracy, the ham-handed treatment of a highly sophisticated culture, the absence of discernable plot, the ridiculous chase sequence, the naive adherence to the idea that Europeans 'civilised' other peoples, the annoyingly halted speech, the pointless revelling in blood and guts, the Mel Gibson craziness and the complete waste of a movie ticket... this is a charming film.

My question to you is, what movie did you think you were about to watch? Why would you watch a movie with a director/producer that you already can't stand. The only waste of time going on here was mine reading your review!
