Almost Heroes

This is definitely a Chris Farley fan club movie and has all the earmarks of a story not very often read. It's premise being that a myriad of buffoons could have stumbled their way to across the country to find the Pacific Ocean. The only true humour in this movie is the abstract found in the character of "Bidwell" and the barrage of misadventures that befall him and yet, somehow he is the only thread that ties the lunacy into a movie with any depth whatsoever as he is like the Wizard of Oz and reveals the "truths" about the characters. Humour for humour's sake. Watch it if you're prepared to waste away with a cold one and no guilt about doing the household chores. It won't take much to put it on pause and come back and watch the rest of it later. You wont forget the plot.
