WOW, was that bad! I've never given a 1 before but WOW! The acting was acceptable but the director, producers and writers really didn't put in even minimal effort. It was insulting how their efforts obviously did not rise above the let's-make-a-quick-buck level. The writers were just so lazy. If they had spent another afternoon reworking the dialog, they could have fixed major flaws. You know when the writers resort to writing cursing to make the villain scary, they really didn't do their job very well. The movie's sub-theme was really paedophilia which was not at all what I wanted to see.

Dude it's called a remake for a reason, that's how Freddy is supposed to act. Your intelligence deserves a 1.
Both of you two [...] need to learn English. Read my review before commenting. The fact that Freddy was swearing wasn't the problem. The fact that was only way the writers could make him scary, that was the problem.
