28 Days Later

It's nice to see that the movie did not get all types of ratings, mostly 1's, 2's, 9's, and 10's. The high ratings are the smart, sophisticated people who actually WATCHED the movie, and didn't just sit there. THe movie was very well shot, and the camera effects (the grainy texture) made the movie realistic, unlike modern "horror" films (ala Resident Evil) I agree with some people that Resident Evil was good and this movie did use/borrow some ideas from it, but what movies now-a-days do not have something previously done in other movie? Like Resident Evil, this movie did have a plot, biological testing. The way people turn into the zombies is much more "realistic" (if you could say such a thing about zombies), because they don't die, they get infected. The zombies are much more realistic themselves. The "Rage Virus" iserts rage and cravings for blood in their minds, therefore making them quicker and stronger than normal humans (unlike other zombie movies where they walk around at extremely slow paces, but still seem to catch up to the protagonist(s) I also liked where there was a lot of suspense, the movie did not go to it's usual Hollywood scary moment, but kept on builing up to the final, mansion, scene. I think people don't like this movie because they didn't see enough action or Hollywood crap, but an original (per say) type film with unique camera effects and excellent acting. Danny Boyle is truly a great director, making this 3 out of 3 (that I've seen) 10/10 films. A true horror masterpiece. See it ASAP.
