A masterpiece and one of the top moneymakers of the 1930s. Carl Denham is a documentary film maker and fortune hunter, who travels with his crew to Skull Island for his latest epic. When there, they come across a giant ape called 'King Kong', who takes a shine to Denham's leading lady Anne Darrow. By using her as bait, they entice and capture him, bringing him back to New York where he escapes and ransacks the city searching for her.
