At times I forgot to BREATHE!!! An incredible achievement but not for the squeamish. You won't take your eyes off the screen.

A full-on assault on the senses. Loaded with over-the-top violence, incredibly hot women, jet-black humor and one of the coolest anti-hero characters ever (Mickey Rourke is mind-blowing! ), Sin City had me beggin' for more. A classic.

I was greatly disappointed by Sin City. Fantasy movies should allow the viewer to connect with the story and characters at some human level, but this effort seemed to be entirely made up of animatronic figures that grinned, grimaced and screeched at each other... with the exception of a few scenes between Bruce Willis and Jessica Alba. Otherwise it was a completely unbelievable collection of garish rubbish. Flashy graphics and visual stunts don't make up for lack of story or humanity. Kill Bill got it right, and beside Sin City, Kill Bill looks like Shakespeare.

Gratuitous violence, T&A, over the top two dimensional characters, and a stunning visual style. Overall a fine adaptation of the Sin City graphic novels. Definitely worth seeing. There's a bit of a lull in the action towards the second half that makes you fidget in your seat, but overall very entertaining..

YUK! Total waste of time. One of the WORST films I've seen in my life. I can't believe people would enjoy so much violence, implausible characters, logic lapses and story is so disconnected. Don't even rent it on DVD. Graphic violence is way over the top, for no reason. 2*s only for interesting photography, but that's being generous. YUK!

AMAZING MOVIE. Completely beat out my expectations. Sin City is a wonderfully original movie with an appealing style. Guaranteed you have never seen a movie like this, and I sure bet there will be other movies in the future to rip off the style because in my opinion there is no doubt it will do well in profits. A definite must-see, if it had come out last year it would have easily beat out the other films at the Oscars for Best Picture. GO SEE IT NOW.

You will notice that those giving this piece of crap a 10 out of 10 are under 18yrs old, that alone should tell you something. This was one of the most boring movies of all time. The only smart thing about it is the cinematography which is clever, but not worth spending 10.50 on though. The three stories are boring in black and white except for blood which is in ABUNDANCE in red and yellow. Movie makes no sense and is 2 hours of boring head chopping, violense and body part cutting all the way through. If you like to see frame by frame of stupid gratuitous mutilation then go see it. If however you have a shred of brainpower and prefer your movies to have stories that make sense with character development then avoid it at all costs. They would offer me $ 50, 000 to see it again and I would refuse... ONE BIG YAWN.

A must see. I would see it a sencond, no a third, no no, a FORTH time. I saw a sneak preview of it and it was, by far, the best moment of my entire life. It is worth paying a million-bizillion dollars to watch this movie. The portrayl of Frank Millers work is uncanny. Best comic movie ever.

Awesome on all counts, I was a fan of the comics and this is the most faithful comic adaptation (almost panel for panel reproduction) one could hope to see. Congrats to Frank Miller.
