DRAGON TATTO has a familiar rich family conspiracy thriller that would seem obvious to fans of the genre. It has scenes that could have been in a Hannibal Lecter movie. There are scenes of torture porn and rapes that would give Eli Roth's HOSTEL films a run for their money. The bisexual computer hacker Lisabeth Salander is such a damaged morally complex character that she steals the movie from everyone else. The final scene has become the standard in how this genre comes to its conclusion. Nevertheless the photography of the Vanger island is spectacularly lensed in its winter climate.

After reading the book I just couldn't wait to see the movie. I was not disapointed. The story is a unbelievable. Can't wait to see the other movies from millenium. What you are about to see is just the tip of the iceberg. It keeps on getting more incredible than one can imagine.

Smart film, excellent acting. Thank goodness the movie rights to the book weren't bought by an american producer...

Very good! If you have read the 3 books of the series Millenium (I think only the first one is out in English though), which are all page turners, you'll enjoy this film. Can't wait for the 2 next films which are due out in the Fall!

Some of the most blatant and extreme anti-male, anti-Christian, anti-Nazi propaganda I have ever seen on the silver screen. Almost every misandric feminist cliche is in this. I'm tired of paying high ticket prices to have to sit through these poorly-disguised PC morality plays. Can't someone just make a good mystery, like a Sherlock Holmes or an Agatha Christie, without slipping in all these patronizing lefty political subtexts?

Excellent police triller but very graphic not for kids not for the weak of heart ether but worth the money I paid and for a 2 1/2 hours film it went by very fast.
