Best poker movie out there. Some inaccuracies but still fun to watch.

A must see for poker fans or just amateurs. The cast is all-around amazing and the movie is very well scripted. It's engaging from one scene to another. Edward Norton is so irresistibly unlikeable in it.

Any real poker player will tell you that the poker tell (the oreo cookie being eaten )DOES NOT HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE. Other than that, a very good movie. Ed Norton plays a great part.

There has to be a sequel to this! It should be called "The Series", which will tell the story about one mans (Damon) journey through the World Series of poker. Why not? Poker popularity is at a all time high! One thing though, Norton must be in it also.

The dialogue in this movie is very sharp and witty. Maybe the ending isn't all that surprising, but that isn't what this film is about. This movie is about the strengths and weaknesses that we have as people, much like everybody has strengths and weaknesses at a poker table. With the exception of Gretchen Mol, it's a very well acted movie. If you like to gamble, you will LOVE this film.

This movie didn't have the big plot or Hollywood budget, but it is definitely worth seeing. It features 2 of todays best actors in the always popular Matt Damon, and still widely unknown Edward Norton.

Very smart, it lets you see things in front of your eyes but you didn't see it before à la Wag The Dog. Matt and Edward are among the best young actors right now. The end is easy to guess which is a downside of the movie but still it is enterntaining especially for those who like gambling.

One word: BAD Too long...and there was no meaning to movie. I thought it was totally unrealistic. The only good thing was Matt Damon was the only thing worth paying attention to. And what's up with John Malkovich's accent...very poorly done.

Rounders has a great cast, amazing cinematography, solid acting, but a very, very, weak plot. Worm (E.Norton) and the Professor (M. Landau) deliver solid performances, but their characters should have been called Plot Device ,1 and Plot Device ,2. If you know anything about gambling or poker, this movie might mean more to you than it did to me. Still, I enjoyed the movie, but I think it's a $2.50 movie at the Palace. Hobbes
