It's not the best Bond movie thou I was happy that I didn't pay full price to see this 1. It's worth going to see on cheat Tuesday.

Similar to all 007 series, more violent and more sexy scenes every moment. Confusing the image of China in the movie, rather stupid. However, James Bond is too old.

Not the greatest Bond movie ever. We know who the bad guys are and how it ends, James is in bed...

This movie was good just because it was James Bond. However, everytime that I go see a new movie, they become more and more far-fetched. Invisible cars, eee. Pushing it. Somethings are also not fisically posible like a chopper jumping out of a plane and being able to fly. The mear speed that the plane was going would be enough to pull out the propellers of the chopper. But Hey... it's Bond "Shaken... not stirred" so you go seet this movie, that is what you get. If you don't like it, don't go watch them. If you like action, this is your movie.

I found it to be the most realistic James Bond in the begining, in the sense of being jailed! I also love the technology they used later on, the Car idea is amazing, I always thought of such invisibility idea devices!

I have seen all James Bond's from the first with Sean Connery and this is one of the best. A must see for any Bond fan.

Here comes the venereal disease-proof hero again. I wonder how people can find the male and female protagonist in the movie appealing in any way. Medically speaking, 007 is a high risk AIDS and other STD candidate. Scorpions in North Korea? Makes very little sense because North Korea is freezing cold, talk to any of the Korean War Vets. It is not a place for poisonous scorpions to habitate. Most don't understand that North Korea borders Russia. Special effects were good but I hoped that the money used on the special effects could have been spent on helping the poor.

I have always been a fan of the Bond flicks, up until that wretched bore Goldeneye came out in 1995 and turned me off. Tomorrow Never Dies was great and The World Is Not Enough was good, despite some ridiculous flaws. Die Another Day is a great action movie, but as a Bond flick, it's about average. The story is fairly standard and the effects (most of them) are terrific. Where it suffers is... the freakin' car!!! How did anyone think an invisible car made any sense. Even in Star Trek's 24th century, humans don't have this kind of technology. If it flew, I would have bought that more. The villain's robocop outfit was a little odd as well. As for Halle Berry being the best Bond girl ever, she does not hold a candle to Michelle Yeoh in Tomorrow Never Dies. She kicked butt! Berry was just a gimmick, who was easily outshined and outacted by the other Bond girl in this film, played by Rosamund Pike, and if they give Berry her own movie as Jinx, we Will all witness the demise of the James Bond franchise. Cubby must be spinning in his grave.

WOW! I was amazed. A thrilling ride of intrigue and suspense. You never know what is coming next. A roller coaster ride of fun and frolic.

This latest installment of James Bond is jammed/crammed with action and special funky new gadgets. It represents a new age of technology and futuristic do-dads, far removed from previous versions. The plot of the movie is so-so and is not nearly as captivating as the scenery. Go see this movie if it's on a Tuesday or Wednesday, or else wait until it's released on DVD.

We found this James Bond movie very exciting and action packed. With actors like Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry it's hard to go wrong. Left with a bir of a headache though... very loud!

The last few Bond films have been shaky and this one only continues the downhill trend. There is a certain suspension of disbelief necessary to watch a Bond film but in this one you could punch holes in the plot, the size of the moon. Waste of $11. I want my money back.

This James Bond movie was the best yet. An outstanding movie. A must see. This is the best Bond movie I have seen yet, I loved the new explosions, crashes, and action. If you haven't seen it yet go see it now or you will never no what you are going to miss... bang, boom zip, thrash, vroom, whoosh... the end.

Boring!!! The only good thing is the cars that is... what's wrong with the special effect at the end? When james Bond surf alone... what the heck is that? We are not in the 60ies or 70ies.

For a James Bond film, this had a slightly different tone. It wasn't quite the cool type of character we've come to expect of James Bond, but then I find Pierce's Bond is not my favourite anyway. I still really enjoyed the special effects. They weren't too unbelievable yet completely new ideas. Definitely worth the theatre experience.

I'm a Bond and Brosnan fan so love seeing all his movies. This one had great action sequences and typically over the top scenes. I didn't think Halle had the personality to make a good Bond woman.

I went to see this James Bond movie because I was told that, contrary to previous James Bond movies, this one had ladies WITH brains. I found that to be true, but that doesn't mean that there were no -unecessary- exhibits of female bodies. I found the second half of the movie stronger than the first. It seemed to me that there were different directors, one for the first half, and another for the second. The first half wasn't strongly put together, in spite of all the action. The second half felt more exciting and gripping, and it had a natural flow. I still recommend it for the visual effects and the concept. Oh, yeah, and the car is beautiful!!

I'm a casual Bond fan, and though I HATED the last Bond movie (The World is Not Enough) , I decided to give this one a try. I'm so glad that I did! It was amazing. Really neat ideas, like the car chase on the ice and then through the ice palace in Iceland. If you're into Bond, or any kind of action movies at all, you should love this. Very fun.

007 has become Batman. This is not what I would expect from a James Bond movie, no class, no solid intrigue, farstretched (so unrealistic that it becomes a joke) storyline and no charm. A lot of boom booms that do not make up for the lack of ingenuity. Kids might like it though..

Oh dear. As a Brit, I have to say that nothing is sacred - not even the indestructable James Bond. I have never heard of Lee Tamahori - must be a student of John Woo though. This has Chinese B movie written all over it. Should have renamed this movie and asked Jackie Chan to do it. Spare the 007 die-hards the pain. Slow motion action shots, 007 doing Kung Fu, ridiculous car chases, cheesey one liners that make Schwazenagger look articulate, a vanishing car that was just plain insultingly stupid, awful special effects. Yes the director has made his mark on 007 - although its more of a smudge. We have already sold most of the Great things about Great Britain, now we have sold out on one of our last icons. No suave, spohisticated, intelligent, debonaire JB. As for the plot, utter crap. Halle Berry was a bimbo, and the bad guy looked like he was from the latest Mortal Kombat movie. Brosnan was becoming a brilliant James Bond, why did they do this to him? Watch and weep.

This is the worst movie I've seen this year, it's a bad story, all the money went in the special effects witch are not that gret anyways, and when I got out of the theater I felt like commiting suicide.

I knew it was a bad idea to see that movie, I'm not even a fan of James Bond. The only reason I went is because my friend was dying to see it, and he offered to pay for me. Since I had nothing else to do, I figured, why not... but I didn't think it would be this bad... Way too exagerated, alot of pointless explosions, bad acting etc... not even worth renting. To be seen on pay-per-view if you really, really have nothing else better to do!

It was a good action flick, not great. Unfortunately it was definitely not a great "Bond" movie. Special effects and some of the acting (sorry Halle) could have definitely been better, although there were some quite stunning effects and ideas involved.

A typical James Bond movie, Pierce Brosnan is still the best looking James Bond, the whole movie was very entertaining but the scene when 'Jinx' (Halle Berry) came out of the water was no comparison to Ursula Andass in Dr. No, that scene was totally over-act.

My first - and last - James Bond movie. Every character was idiotic and every word was moronic. Die Another Day? Hell no, I wanted to die right there in the theatre. Death seemed better than staying until the end of this movie!

Someone says the story line is a mess up; in fact, it MAY just seem that the background of story is too wide and the scenes do not have the perfect connection, but after you saw the movie and think it over, you Will find out the movie is amazing indeed. Nevertheless, Halle Berry plays her role well, but not flawlessly; she seems too overreact on her American culture: to be funny and humourous, but in a 007 movie, actress cannot be that humourous in some situations. Because of her, this movie deserves a 9/10.

Although I enjoyed the movie, but I truly believe that Bond has lost its 'classic' touch completely. All the 'Brosnan Bonds' were like other super action movies. The love scenes were like suddenly out of nowhere! But still then, 'a Bond is a Bond', and I would prefer spend my dollars on 'Die Another Day'. ---- Joydeep Dhar.
