Non seulement pour comprendre cette guerre, mais aussi pour tenter de comprendre l'absurdité des forces en présence: d'un côté les 2 ethnies qui s'affrontent sans trop savoir qui a fait quoi, mais aussi jauger des forces en présence: la communauté internationale, les casques bleus, les médias, et comment un simple fait divers peut faire basculer l'image de l'un ou l'autre.

Je suis allé en Croatie en 95 avec les nations unies et 9 mois après je suis allé en Bosnie avec l'otan. Je peux vous dire que c'est le film le plus réaliste que j'ai vu sur ce qui ce passais là-bas durant leur guerre.

Le meilleur film que j'ai vu cette année au JTC, un très beau scénario à montré la stupidité de la guerre, pas simplement en Bosnie, mais la guerre en général et a montré par le style Becketien l'absurdité de la vie... Aussi je dois dire, bravo au comédiens, car leurs jeux étaient superbe, et bien sensationnel. Enfin, Chapeau pour le réalisateur pour ce travail.

Film très impressionnant et symbolique... Dans son premier long métrage, Tanovic nous fait comprendre que cette Bosnie, pour laquelle on s'est fait tant de soucis, a pu souffrir. Mais cette Bosnie souffre toujours. Puisque les médias n'en parlent plus, on ne se retourne plus sur ce pays, et l'oublie trop vite...

C'est un des meilleurs films que j'ai vus jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Pour le comprendre je pense qu'il faut un peu connaitre la situation politique. D'après moi, c'est le seul film qui montre combien la guerre est ridicule et que tout le monde est pareil, peu importe la nationalité. Oscar bien mérité, même à côte d'Amelie Poulain!

Avec ce film on comprend la stupidité de la guerre en Croatie, finalement les Serbes, Croates et Bosniaques se ressemblent beaucoup culturellement et c'est juste une montée de nationalisme qui a fair éclater cette guerre. Film à voir si on veut comprendre ce conflit.

Est-il encore en salle quelquepart? Il a disparu trop vite! Je me demande si ce n'est pas l'ONU qui a subventionné son retrait accéléré... Blague à part, c'est un très bon scénario, simple mais profond et une interprétation très crédible chez tous les personnages. La situation est de plus en plus absurde, mais on sait en même temps que tout cela est bien vrai. Et quel titre parlant! No man's land!!! Beaucoup d'esprit et d'efficacité. Chapeau Danis Tanovic.

Un excellent film remplis d'humanité, regard critique sur la guerre de Bosnie en 9, excellent jeu des acteurs malgré une mise en scène faible. No Man's Land rend compte d'un fort équ'ilibre entre la comédie et le drame, alors que la tension monte, les quotients intellectuelles descendent! No Man's Land reste un excellent premier long métrage du réalisateur Danis Tanovic ou la guerre devient la scène de l'absurdité stupide des humains. Film à voir!

J'ai franchement adoré le film, il est par contre dommage qu'il ai "pris" l'oscar d'Amelie Poulain, mais les 2 films sont merveilleusement bons, ça vous change des cochoneries de fast food cinématographique habituelle. On en ressort avec une impression très particulière, qui vous rapelle que la guerre c'est merdique... Franchement, j'ai beaucoups aimé. À voir absolument par tout le monde (public avertis bien entendu)

Superbe journée d'été ensoleillée, paysages bucoliques, un homme est couché sur une mine prête à exploser... Voilà tout le contraste (qui rappelle au passage le Dormeur du Val de Raimbault) de ce film qui, ajouté à une bonne dose de de petits détails rendant la situation encore plus absurde et une savoureuse critique des forces de l'ONU, fait de ce long métrage un petit bijou "rafraîchissant" qui mérite pleinement d'avoir été reconnu aux Oscars. Brillant au niveau du propos et de la façon dont il a été rendu, il ne rejoint cependant pas l'originalité et la splendeur cinématographique du Fabuleux Destin... Mais vraiment, excellent film, par ce qu'il représente (même si ce n'était que pour l'image finale...)

La guerre... On a toujours cette image de la guerre terrible et sanglante, injuste et injustifiée, sans sentiments et plutôt animale... Ici, on a toute la tension, les émotions, l'absurdité de la guerre. Une guerre qu'on connait mal, mais dont on nous cache certainement bien des aspects qui sont légèrement révélés ici... Et en plus, cette fin inattendue qui nous montre à quel point l'Homme est encore plus cruel que la guerre qu'il a créé... à voir, pour réfléchir sur autre chose que ce qu'on nous montre à la télé...

Ce film m'a touché profondément car je viens de la Bosnie. En un mot: EXCEPTIONNEL! J'espère que Danis gagnera un Oscar. This was a great, deep story about not only human stupidity but our indifference. I was completely astonished by its message. I loved it, I adored it. Un petit bijou en somme, si il n'y avait pas ces sous-titres lamentables, indignes de véritables professionnels, écrits dans un français minable, voir scandaleux. Et on s'étonnera ensuite que l'industrie québécoise du doublage ait des difficultés...

Bon film sur des soldats qui ne savent plus qui a commencé la guerre et encore moins pourquoi ils se battent. Ils savent qu'il doivent tirer de l'autre côté et s'haïr. Ajouter à cela de la politique internationale et la pression des médias et vous obtenez ce très bon film sur la guerre en Bosnie.
