I'm not a big Matt Dillon fan, but his performance took me by surprise. His writing was very good. The story was well done and gave you enough clues to try and figure it out. It took some interesting twists and turns. Some were predictable, others not. Stellan Skarsgard's performance was marvellous as usual. Natascha Mcelhone was the perfect exotic beauty. Gerard Depardieu was marvelous in his role. The setting was very well presented. You really felt like you were in an exotic foreign country. And the danger felt very real. A great stepping stone to greater works for this aspiring writer/director.
